Do Alternative Treatments and Vitamin Supplements Work?
In recent years, the popularity of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and vitamin therapy has increased dramatically. This led the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to create the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) formerly National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine). It provides funding — a lot of funding — to study many of these treatments.
