FluMist: Newer But Perhaps Not Better The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved the first flu vaccine that doesnít need to be injected to work. Itís a nasal spray and it is called FluMist. The approval should be good news for those of us who get a flu shot every year. But, there are some trade-offs that should be considered. FluMist is not right for everyone.
