Controlling Acid Reflux and Chronic Heartburn
You enjoyed the meal, but now you're paying for it. You've got heartburn—an uncomfortable burning sensation spreading up the middle of your chest. Heartburn can hit after you eat too much, eat spicy foods, lie down to take a nap after lunch, or at bedtime. Many women experience it during pregnancy. Sometimes the pain is so intense that you may think you are having a heart attack.
