Dangers of cigar smoking
Cigar smokers tend to smoke less often than cigarette smokers, and may think that their habit is a safe one. That's a mistake. Cigar tobacco contains more nitrate than cigarette tobacco, so the smoke it produces contains more nitrogen oxide, ammonia, and tobacco-specific nitrosamines, which are especially cancer-causing. Cigar smoke is also absorbed more readily than cigarette smoke.
